What is the Lynton Excellight Machine?

The Lynton Excellight Machine is a multi-purpose, state-of-the-art platform designed to provide a wide range of treatments for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, acne, and vascular concerns. Partnering with the UK’s No.1 laser & IPL manufacturer and leading NHS supplier, Lynton , all therapists at The Nail and Beauty Studio have undertaken extensive theory and practical based training to help ensure all of our clients receive the safest treatment possible, alongside unrivalled clinical results. Lynton have over 23 years’ experience manufacturing a broad range of aesthetic technologies and have won multiple awards for the quality, safety and clinical results achievable with their equipment.

We chose the Lynton EXCELIGHT IPL for a number of reasons, which include the quality of the result but also because of the high level of training provided. We have received in-depth training from Lynton, on top of completing Level 4 qualification in advanced laser and light technologies. All delivered in partnership with the world-leading institute of higher education - The University of Manchester.

Who is suitable for the treatment?

Firstly you will need to book a 'IPL consultation and patch test' appointment with either one of our qualified skin therapists Amy or Ella. We will then provide you with any information you need regarding your treatment, we will discuss the treatment in detail to make you feel as comfortable as possible. If we decide that IPL is the right treatment for you we will perform a patch test to ensure there is not adverse reaction. Following a successful patch test and consultation your first session can continue a week later.

How many sessions will I need?

Every client is different, we do advise for hair reduction to allow at least 8 sessions, following this it is advised to keep up with maintenance sessions which will be advised by our therapit's. Skin rejuvenation depending on the area can be as little as one session for a small lesion or can be up to a course of 6 treatments for full face skin rejuvenation with maintenance appointments. For Hair removal we recommend 6 week intervals between treatments (you can shave inbetween just no waxing or plucking!) and for Skin rejuvenation 4-6 week intervals between treatments again depending on area.

How do I pay for sessions?

Each session can be paid for at the time of the treatment. for courses a membership can be created to spread the cost throughout the course, meaning no large amounts to pay at once.​
